Mission

Mission

Transforming Autism Care Consortium (TACC) will connect and mobilize Quebec’s strengths in autism research to improve quality of life of autistic individuals and their family as well as to integrate knowledge in practice and policy. TACC represents a unique initiative for collaboration, bringing together the expertise of researchers from different research institutes in Québec in the pursuit of three main objectives: 1) Build a pipeline to create a database compiling genetic, cellular, brain, and behavioral profiles data in 1,000 families, 2) Building research capacity by offering training opportunities, research grants and fellowships and 3) Connect researchers, clinicians, community and government to communicate and integrate research progress and discoveries.
