The Visage Municipal program is now open. Coming back in an expanded version that includes all sectors of the three Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ), this program offers teams of researchers and Municipal stakeholders in Quebec the opportunity to work together on intersectoral projects based on the research and innovation needs of Municipalities.
Main characteristics of the program
- Maximum total funding per project: $100,000;
- Duration of funding: 2 years;
- Each project must be supported by at least one partner Municipality;
- Eligible teams must be composed of at least the following three persons:
1. a principal investigator working in research areas covered by the FRQNT, FRQS or FRQSC;
2. a person attached to the project’s Partner Municipality;
3. a researcher working in research fields covered by a different Fonds de recherche du Québec than the principal investigator. - The definition of Municipality has been expanded for the purposes of the program.
