Abstract
After growing in numbers and resources in the US beginning in the 1960s and in Canada from the 1980s onward, think tanks later experienced the same type of growth in Québec. The research led by Guillaume Lamy constitutes an initial survey and maps the ideological divisions between organizations. Indeed, the paper illustrates the evolution in their effects and explores the links between think factories, lobbies and political parties, as well as the role Québec billionaires played in the founding and funding Québec’s think tanks.
