Abstract

Julien Desautels takes an innovative look at the interventions available to teenagers and their families in a crisis situation. By delving into the intervention processes that take place during treatment, the study determines different clinical profiles of families and compares the interventions they receive as part of an intensive family program. The results show that the programs target families with different clinical profiles and thus underscore the importance of better tailoring the interventions based on the profiles of the teenagers and their families in order to improve the services available to them.
